SAVE!! SAVE!! SAVE!! $$$

Dollars are too precious to part with! Even in the process of purchasing the needful, the more dollars you save the better off you are!! Some people seem to get the best deals in everything. If you are one of those, don't be deceived in believing that all is well. You may have great profits and save much money, but the Bible says that you would still be a loser if your soul is not saved!

Unfortunately, all of us are lost in this world, walking towards eternal doom until the LORD JESUS meets us. There is a great transaction at Calvary. By dying a cruel death on the Cross, JESUS paid for our Salvation. Now you can be Saved by confessing your sins, repenting of your sins, accepting HIS forgiveness and turning to walk the path of righteousness. Now the Resurrected CHRIST takes over your life and makes your life profitable. Not only are you saved, but you are able to see souls saved.

Saving dollars brings joy. Saved souls bring much greater joy not only on earth but also in Heaven.

Mark 8:36-37 (NIV)
36 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?
37 Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

Romans 3:23 (NIV)
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Isaiah 53:6 (NIV)
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

1 John 1:8-9 (NIV)
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Luke 10:20 (NIV)
20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

Luke 15:10 (NIV)
10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

Responsibilities in the Kingdom

1. We need to allow the King to establish His Kingdom in our lives. This we do by diligently studying the Word of God and submitting to it.We communicate with God in prayer and grow in our relationship with Him. We allow Him to take over our lives and live through us. We give up selfish desires and ambitions.

When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it.   Mark 8:34-35 (NKJV)

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.   Galatians 2:20 (NKJV)

2. We have to progress forward in the Kingdom by following Christ and obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit. We should not turn back.

But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."   Luke 9:62 (NKJV)

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.   Philippians 3:13-14 (NKJV)

3. We accept all others in the Kingdom and have fellowship with them. We pray for each other and help each other, speaking words of truth to build each other in the faith.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.   Hebrews 10:24-25 (NKJV)

4. We should always seek the unity of those in the Kingdom. Wherever there is discord among the brethren, we should stand in the gap and intercede and speak words that will bring peace.

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;   Hebrews 12:14-15 (NKJV)

Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.   Matthew 5:9 (NKJV)

5. It is our responsibility also to see God's Kingdom extended. We pray for people to be open to accept the way of salvation through Jesus Christ. We should witness firstly through our lives by setting a godly example. We need to also take every opportunity to make the Gospel message known to all people. This can be done by witnessing verbally or distributing Gospel literature. These days there are many easy ways, like the Internet, to spread the good news of the Gospel worldwide. Those who are ready should be led into God's Kingdom and taught to follow the Lord Jesus.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.   Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV)

Privileges in the Kingdom of God

We enjoy many privileges being part of the Kingdom of God.

  1. We have the hope of eternal life in Heaven. When our earthly life ends, the Kingdom life continues in glory.John 3:16 (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

  2. We are justified and considered righteous in the eyes of God, because of the gift of forgiveness received through Jesus Christ. The result of this is an inner peace and joy that is not dependant on our circumstances.Romans 14:17 (NKJV)
17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

  3. The works of Satan, that is , the Kingdom of darkness, are exposed and destroyed. Jesus, came as the Anointed One to bind the evil spirits and set the captive people free.Isaiah 61:1 (NKJV)
    1 "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
    Matthew 12:28 (NKJV)
28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

  4. Having been set free, we recieve the keys of the Kingdom to set others free. We use the authority of the keys by praying to God in the Name of Jesus Christ.Matthew 16:19 (NKJV)
19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
    John 16:23 (NKJV)
23 And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.
    Luke 10:19 (NKJV)
19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
    Matthew 10:8 (NKJV)
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

  5. It is a Kingdom of power, promising us a life of victory on this earth. Whatever we are commanded to do, we are also empowered to do. There is an impartation of the power of God into our lives through His Spirit to make us Christ-like. When the Holy Spirit comes upon us, we are empowered to be able to do things beyond our own ability.Romans 4:20 (NKJV)
20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,
    John 15:5 (NKJV)
5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
    Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
    Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

  6. Our family boundary is extended, and we become part of a worldwide family of God. We enjoy loving relationships with those who have Jesus Christ in their hearts, regardless of background, race, colour or language.Luke 18:28-30 (NKJV)
28 Then Peter said, "See, we have left all and followed You."
29 So He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,
30 who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life."

  7. When we serve God in His Kingdom, He meets all our earthly needs. He has promised to do so, and He is faithful to keep His promise.Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)
19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
    Matthew 6:25-34 (NKJV)
25 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
    28 So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;
29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble
