The True Light

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. - John 1:1-13 

The life in the LORD JESUS is the light of men.
He is the True Light.
When you receive CHRIST JESUS into your heart, you receive life which is light.

For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. - 2 Corinthians 4:6-7 

This same GOD Who is Light, Who created light by speaking it out saying "Let there be Light" has also now shone in our hearts. We carry this light in our physical bodies like a light bulb!

Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. - Philippians 2:14-16 

Your Light shines forth when you live according to the Word of GOD.

"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. - Matthew 5:14-16 

When the LORD JESUS walked on this earth, He was the Light of the world. Now He wants us to shine His light in this dark world.
When your light is lit by JESUS in your life, You need to let your light shine by doing good works in obedience to the Holy Spirit.
Do not suppress this light by carnality and selfishness but let it shine through selflessness and love.
Our Heavenly Father is glorified through such a life.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. - Ephesians 5:6-12 

The fruit of the Spirit manifesting in our lives causes us to shine forth as children of Light.
Just as light exposes things that are in darkness, this Light of GOD exposes the unfruitful works of darkness first in us and then in others.

If you visit a 'Lighting Store', you will see a variety of beautiful bulbs that shine the same electric light in different ways.
GOD has created you as an unique bulb with  an unique character, abilities, talents and skills to shine forth His Light in the surroundings He has placed you. Let your Light shine so that your Heavenly Father may be glorified through you!

A word of warning!!

Now it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of the LORD came to me, saying, "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: - Ezekiel 3:16-17 

A word  received on 2nd August 2014

 This is a time of reckoning, a time of intense warfare in the heavenly realm - spiritual warfare.

 My people do not know, do not understand. They are going about their business - busyness - as usual, as the enemy's fiery darts are flying around! Watch Israel in the Middle east. The natural situation there is an indication of the spiritual situation around - around the spiritual Israel - GOD'S people. 

It is time to take shelter. Time to enter your closet - your secret place to seek the LORD, so that He may have mercy on us. We need to humble ourselves - like getting into the underground bunkers.

How much more do you need to see and hear before you take it to heart that the time is near? 

Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. - Isaiah 55:6-7 

Sowing A Seed. Is Money A Seed?

Does the word 'Seed' refer to 'Money' in the Scriptures?

'Seed' always refers to the 'Word Of GOD' in the Scriptures.
Soil refers to the heart where the seed of the Word is sown.
The seed sown on good soil grows and bears fruit.
The degree of fruitfulness depends on the condition of the soil.
This refers To the attitude and motive of the heart.
Fruit refers to the fruit of the Spirit.
The fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Self control.
These are 9 aspects of the fruit of the Spirit of God that should be seen in us as GOD'S people.
These are 9 attitudes displayed by a heart filled with GOD'S love.

The seeds from the fruit are the actions that follow the attitude of the heart.
Such seed are service to GOD and others, gestures of kindness, reaching out to those in need, giving to the needy and so on.
The actions refer to spiritual sowing which results in fruits of righteousness not only in the sower, but also in those who receive, through many thanksgivings to GOD.

"The sower sows the word.

 "And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown.

 When they hear, Satan comes immediately

 and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.

 "These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who,

 when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

 "and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises

 for the word's sake, immediately they stumble.

 "Now these are the ones sown among thorns;

 they are the ones who hear the word,

 "and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches,

 and the desires for other things entering in choke the word,

 and it becomes unfruitful.

 "But these are the ones sown on good ground,

 those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit:

 some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred."  

Mark 4:14-20  

But the fruit of the Spirit is

 love, joy, peace,

 longsuffering, kindness, goodness,

 faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

 Against such there is no law. 

 Galatians 5:22-23 

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,

 and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart,

 not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you,

 that you, always having all sufficiency in all things,

 may have an abundance for every good work.

 As it is written: "He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor;

 His righteousness endures forever."

 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food,

 supply and multiply the seed you have sown

 and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality,

 which causes thanksgiving through us to God.

 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God,

 while, through the proof of this ministry,

 they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men,

 and by their prayer for you,

 who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you.
