POISON!!

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field 

which the LORD God had made. 

And he said to the woman, 

"Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?" 

And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; "but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 

'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' " 

Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. 

"For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, 

and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." 

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, 

that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, 

she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; 

and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. 

And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden 

in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves 

from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. 

Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?" 

So he said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself." - Genesis 3:1-10

GOD commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The serpent, the Devil, the Evil one, the deceiver, the father of lies, told them otherwise.

Fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was spiritual poison. It caused spiritual death to Adam and Eve the very moment they ate of it. Their relationship with the LORD GOD was affected. They became self conscious and ashamed of themselves and hastened to hide themselves from GOD. That is spiritual death.

"Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach 

and is eliminated? "But those things which proceed out of the mouth 

come from the heart, and they defile a man. 

"For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, 

thefts, false witness, blasphemies. "These are the things which defile a man, 

but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man." - Matthew 15:17-20

Poisonous food can make the body sick and may cause physical death. Sin, which is sickness of the soul, caused by lies that turn the heart away from GOD, is more dangerous and leads to eternal death.

The devil who is the serpent of old continues to spew out his venom of lies with fierce wrath to kill mankind. Beware of the poison! Every word that is against the Word of GOD, every thought and imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of GOD, the principles and traditions of the world that do not align with GOD'S word is poison to the soul. Self indulgence, same-sex marriage and the promotion of such thinking are poisonous.

Would you be careless about leaving poison around making it accessible to your little kids? Should we not be even more concerned not to expose the minds of our precious kids to such poison that can kill their souls eternally?

Let us as adults take responsibility to protect the minds of our children from such evil that leads to spiritual death eternally.

"But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. - Mark 9:42

Wicked people who poison innocent people, and people who are careless with poisonous substances, making them accessible to little children are worthy of punishment. Imagine the death of an innocent child under such circumstances. Even worse would be the punishment of those who author and spew out such poison through various reading material and media like the internet, making it accessible to young kids. Surely GOD'S wrath is on such wicked individuals.

"Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, 

"Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; 

Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. - Isaiah 1:18

If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, 

we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, 

we have fellowship with one another, 

and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. - 1 John 1:6-7

The blood of the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the antidote for the blood-poison of sin in mankind.

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? 

He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.- 1 John 2:22

Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, 

for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. "Why do you not understand My speech? 

Because you are not able to listen to My word. "You are of your father the devil, 

and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. 

When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, 

for he is a liar and the father of it. 

"But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. - John 8:42-45

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God 

for pulling down strongholds, 

casting down arguments and every high thing 

that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, 

bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 

and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. 

- 2 Corinthians 10:3-6

The truth of the Gospel is the anti-venom that counteracts the poison of lies the serpent of old continues to spew out.

In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: 

Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, 

nor is he who does not love his brother. - 1 John 3:10

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, 

because fear involves torment. 

But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. - 1 John 4:18

The love of GOD displaces the fear that is constantly put into the mind and heart by the devil.

And this is the promise that He has promised us--eternal life. 

These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, 

and you do not need that anyone teach you; 

but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, 

and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. - 1 John 2:25-27

GOD once again breathes His Holy Spirit into people, restoring eternal life to all who would receive Him.

So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, 

who deceives the whole world; 

he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. - Revelation 12:9
