BEING
BEING is an innate nature and an innate character.
"for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.' - Acts 17:28
We live, move and have our BEING in GOD.
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." - Genesis 1:28
When we receive GOD's blessing, we become transformed to BEING what GOD wants us to be. Being fruitful and multiplying will be natural. We cannot but be fruitful. We cannot but multiply.
And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain,
and when He was seated His disciples came to Him.
Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
or theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
"Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you,
and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
"Rejoice and be exceedingly glad,
for great is your reward in heaven,
for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
- Matthew 5:1-12
The beatitudes are 'BE-ATTITUDES' that make us blessed and keep us extremely happy.
Doing must follow the BEING.
Doing good to be a child of GOD is legalism.
B - C - D
Being in CHRIST should result in Doing good.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. - Ephesians 2:8-10
