Spiritual Warfare - 20

Spiritual Warfare - 20

In short, what is 'Spiritual Warfare'?

UNDERSTAND that it is a spiritual battle in the heavenly realm between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. It is a battle we need to overcome in this life in order to reach our eternal destination, heaven.

It is a battle of the soul, for the souls of people.
It is a battle that begins in the minds of people and may progress to the heart and to the body.

Diligently study the word of GOD to RENEW YOUR MIND to counteract the lies of the devil.

The LORD JESUS has already won the victory on behalf of every human being.

RECEIVE CHRIST to take the first step to victory.

LIVE IN CHRIST and progress in CHRIST until the end of this life to gain eternal victory.

What then shall we say to these things?
If God is for us, who can be against us?
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:31,35,37
Therefore spiritual victory is not a life without tribulation, distress, persecution and so on.

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,
let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us,
and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,
who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame,
and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:1-2
The path to spiritual victory is the way of the cross which is self denial for the sake of CHRIST.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away,
 reserved in heaven for you,
who are kept by the power of God through faith
for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
  In this you greatly rejoice,
though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes,
though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory
at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love.
Though now you do not see Him, yet believing,
you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 1:3-9
It is our faith that keeps us connected to the LORD JESUS.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day,
and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

2 Timothy 4:7-8

 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:8-10

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
To God our Savior, Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power,
 Both now and forever. Amen.

Jude 1:24-25
