Owe no one anything except to love one another,

I - Self centred attitudes are:  
SIN, PRIDE, CRIME

O - Others centred attitudes are:  
JOY, HOPE, CROWN, GLORY

J - JESUS initiated attitude is JOY

JESUS first.

Others next.

Yourself last.

You end up with JOY!!

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing?

Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?

For you are our glory and joy.

1 Thessalonians 2:19-20

Crown depicts the head, mind, thinking pattern..

The thoughts that pre- occupy the mind.

What is your glory?

A beautiful house that you have cleaned up well;

your nice car that you have washed and polished;

a pretty dress you made;

your kids winning awards in school;

or any such thing?

What is the hope that keeps you pressing on?

Is it something great for yourself?

What gives you great joy?  

A salary rise or a big gift?

As for the apostle Paul, his hope, joy, crown and glory

was in the revelation of CHRIST

in the precious people he was praying for,

ministering to and discipling.
