The cleanliness of an individual, a household or a city is determined by the effectiveness of their knowledge and disposal of personal dirt, household rubbish and city garbage respectively. Similarly,  the testimony and the glory of the Body of CHRIST is brought about by the intercession of humble servants of GOD in the body.

Just as the garbage truck drives towards the collections of garbage, picks them up and then heads towards the rubbish dump, so the Saviour of the world came down from the Holy Heaven toward this filthy world and sat with publicans and sinners. Then He headed towards Calvary, laying all of the garbage of all of mankind down and covered it with His life blood! Thus He has made a way for the effective disposal of not only our sin, but also for the sin of others through our intercession. We are like garbage trucks transporting all anger, bitterness, hurt and such that we encounter, to Calvary, trading them with forgiveness, grace and love.

 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' But wisdom is justified by her children."
Matthew 11:19

Are you one who collects dirt and effectively disposes of it or are you one of those who scatter garbage and are used as a tool of the enemy?

He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad. 
Matthew 12:30 

Sinners tend to gravitate towards the Saviour to be unburdened of their sin.

Do people who are oppressed by the devil through guilt and fear come to you for help?

Do they feel comfortable to open up to you with their needs, weaknesses and burdens?

Do you effectively dispose of all spiritual garbage by interceding wherever you go, so that you leave a clean spiritual atmosphere for the glory of GOD!

Yesterday I heard news that over a hundred containers full of garbage from foreign countries are heading towards our nation! The spiritual vision came to me when my husband and I walked, stood, sat and prayed on the rampart within the fort of the city of Galle situated in the southern coast of Sri Lanka, expecting to hear a word from the LORD and to receive a vision. The GOD, Whose name is faithful, has not only given us a vision, but will also fulfil it at the appointed time. I am therefore writing it down on my tablet with urgency, making it known plainly, so that those who read it may run with it.

The LORD is raising a mighty army of effective intercessors who will repent and earnestly pray for the LORD to graciously remove their own sin, the sin of this nation and the sin of other nations!! Amen, So be it , LORD.

 I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected. Then the Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:1-3

Unresolved issues in life form an uneven path for the journey of life. A person who is fearful of conflicts will wind his way around others to avoid confrontations. what he believes in his heart will be different to what he says with his mouth. Hence he cannot form deep and meaningful relationships with others. They are peacekeepers and not peacemakers. Every one of those issues needs to be sorted out and put right before the coming of the LORD.

While driving around in cities, from time to time we encounter the long, complex and tedious process of the building of a highway. Many persons with many skills are involved in the planning, digging and making process. Various equipments such as tractors, diggers, earth movers and tools are used. There seems to be a period of mess and chaos. Traffic is diverted for a season. The direction of traffic in certain lanes are reversed temporarily! Many who use the roads around are inconvenienced for a period.

GOD gave commandments (come and mend!) to His people, so they could follow the way and pave their path towards Him. That long and difficult path of keeping rules and laws and sacrificing for sins and giving offerings to appease the wrath of GOD was an impossible road to travel for our ancestors of the Old Testament.

 The voice of one crying in the wilderness: 

Prepare the way of the Lord; 

Make straight in the desert A highway for our God. 

Every valley shall be exalted 

And every mountain and hill brought low; 

The crooked places shall be made straight 

And the rough places smooth; 

The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, 

And all flesh shall see it together; 

For the mouth of the Lord has spoken."
Isaiah 40:3-5 

Imagine that road replaced by a highway that is easy, travellable and quick! That is the path of grace Father GOD has made for all of mankind through the LORD JESUS. He is the Way and He is the Vehicle! You need to get into Him and you can be sure you will get to the Father. He has made all the necessary sacrifices and offerings and appeased the wrath of GOD. When you receive Him into your 
heart, He will guide and lead you through His Spirit.

This highway journey begins with JESUS in our heart but there are many mountains, obstacles and twists in the pathway of the mind.
 The foolishness of a man twists his way, 

And his heart frets against the Lord.
Proverbs 19:3 
The path of one whose intellect and will are not surrendered to GOD in worship is crooked.

Some may have low self esteem or negative experiences that would make their path to be a valley while beauty, wisdom, success and high achievements could make others walk the mountain of pride.

 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal 

but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 

casting down arguments 

and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, 

bringing every thought into captivity 

to the obedience of Christ,

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 

Every mindset needs to be corrected, straightened, levelled and evened before the coming of the LORD.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, 

that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, 

holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 

And do not be conformed to this world, 

but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, 

that you may prove what is that good and acceptable 

and perfect will of God.
Romans 12:1-2

 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, 
and the feeble knees, 
and make straight paths for your feet, 
so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. 
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, 
without which no one will see the Lord: 
looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; 
lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, 
and by this many become defiled;
Hebrews 12:12-15 
The word of GOD is the straight and narrow path that leads us to GOD. Therefore every thought, imagination, intent and attitude needs to align to GOD'S word for us to be able to travel that road. We  should diligently study GOD'S word like studying a map. We should submit to His word and walk in obedience to His will. His grace will enable us by the power of the Holy Spirit.
When we are securely walking that highway,
We can prayerfully help others in the construction
of their Highway of Holiness!

See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, 

To root out and to pull down, 

To destroy and to throw down, 

To build and to plant." 

Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 

"Jeremiah, what do you see?" 

And I said, "I see a branch of an almond tree." 

Then the Lord said to me, 

"You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word."
Jeremiah 1:10-12 

 The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, 
And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; 
It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, 
Even with joy and singing. 
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, 
The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. 
They shall see the glory of the Lord,

Practical ways to humble myself:

 Let this mind be in you 
which was also in Christ Jesus, 

who, being in the form of God, 
did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 

but made Himself of no reputation, 

taking the form of a bondservant, 

and coming in the likeness of men. 

And being found in appearance as a man, 

He humbled Himself 
and became obedient to the point of death, 

even the death of the cross. 

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him 

and given Him the name
 which is above every name, 

that at the name of Jesus 
every knee should bow, 

of those in heaven, 
and of those on earth, 

and of those under the earth, 

and that every tongue should confess
 that Jesus Christ is Lord, 

to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:5-11 

I will bless the Lord at all times;

because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, 

seeking whom he may devour. 

Resist him, steadfast in the faith, 

knowing that the same sufferings are experienced 
by your brotherhood in the world. 

But may the God of all grace, 

Who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, 

after you have suffered a while, 

perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 

To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 

1 Peter 5:1-11 

Adulterers and adulteresses! 
Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? 
Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world 
makes himself an enemy of God. 
Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, 
"The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"?

Eat simple.
Dress simple.
Live simple.
Associate with humble people.
Work on understanding others.
Exalt the LORD.
Magnify the LORD.
Honour people.
Abide in the LORD JESUS.
Submit to the Holy Spirit.
Follow the leading of the Spirit.
Allow your heart to be filled the LORD'S love.

TRAIN

Train Up Your Child 

(The Train Principle) Prov 22:6

• Do not control the child.

• Teach the child to come under God’s control.

• Decide for the child in his early years.

• Later, teach him how to make decisions.

• Do it all first by godly example, then by instruction.

• Do all work with understanding, love and patience.

• Let your focus be the Lord and not the child.

• Be an intercessor - be close to the Lord and to the child.

    - be linked to the Lord and to the child.

In this way, you will see that the child will be linked to the Lord and will be able, in due time, to effectively train up his child in the way he should go.

Train up a child in the way he should go,

 And when he is old he will not depart from it.

 Proverbs 22:6 

"Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD,

 when I will make a new covenant

 with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah--

 "not according to the covenant that I made

 with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand

 to lead them out of the land of Egypt,

 with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD:
