 FROM GABBATHA TO GOLGOTHA

From Judgement to crucifixion

The Judge of the whole world stood humbly before Pilate to be judged!

The Savior of the whole world was condemned to death and was crucified!

The Giver of Life died and was laid in a tomb!

One day, each one of us including Pilate,
will have to stand before the judgement seat of CHRIST.

CHRIST defeated death and now lives forever
to save those who come to Him in faith.

He gives them eternal life.

He freely offers forgiveness to those who stand condemned
before the judicial system of this world
and also to those who carry guilt in their hearts.

He releases those who are in spiritual prison and bondage,
into freedom and liberty in Him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ,
that each one may receive the things done in the body,
according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:10

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus
for He will save His people from their sins."
Matthew 1:21

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him,
"If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
John 8:31-32

Therefore if the Son makes you free,
you shall be free indeed.
John 8:36

and that He was buried,
and that He rose again the third day
according to the Scriptures,
1 Corinthians 15:4

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him,
and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness did not comprehend it.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light,
that all through him might believe.
  He was not that Light,
but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:1-14
