 I AM WHO I AM

 Then Moses said to God, 

"Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 

'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' 

and they say to me, 'What is His name?' 

what shall I say to them?" 

And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." 

And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 

'I AM has sent me to you.' " 

Moreover God said to Moses, 

"Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: 

'The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, 

and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. 

This is My name forever, 

and this is My memorial to all generations.'

Exodus 3:13-15

This GOD, Whose name is I AM WHO I AM, meets you as who you are at the place where you are, to take you to Himself - where He has planned you to be and to make you like Him - who He has purposed you to be. 

He does not change and yet He wants to have a relationship with you! Therefore yield to Him and be willing to be changed by Him. Then His Holy Fire will not consume you, but it will change you! You will be changed as you linger in His Presence.

 "For I am the Lord, I do not change; 

Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
Malachi 3:6

 "Behold, I send My messenger, 

And he will prepare the way before Me. 

And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, 

Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. 

Behold, He is coming," Says the Lord of hosts. 

  "But who can endure the day of His coming? 

And who can stand when He appears? 

For He is like a refiner's fire And like launderer's soap. 

  He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; 

He will purify the sons of Levi, 

And purge them as gold and silver, 

That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.
